This book is a love letter to myself. Through this book, I’m assuring the little girl within me that it’s OK to heal, be open, and vulnerable. I’m affirming to her that she is beautiful, she is wonderful and how important it is to take care of herself. I’m also telling her to forgive and love herself.

Through this book, I hope to reach the children who feel they have no way out. I hope to reach the ones who feel like the odds are against them. I want them to believe in themselves, dream, and push forward. And to the adults reading this book, I have reflection questions at the end of the chapter to provide a space for you to focus on your journey. I provide these questions as an opportunity for you to connect with your inner child and to hear what he or she has to say. And hopefully from the conversation, you can heal.
